2 questions here…how does this make rollers and/or spam less effective? And secondly, why do people keep bringing up DL2, it’s never going to happen…ever.

Ok, this is truly funny now. I put 5 bots in a bunch close to each other – launched 4 pipes, which would lead to at least 4 of them dying, right? 2 of them died, 2 of them dealt 1 pipe, 1 didn’t got any damage at all. How about effective spam, huh?

How about going 12 insta-detonable stickies and forget about pipe launcher at all then?

I just went in a pub and somehow magically hit a moving scout with a pipe. It dealt 50 damage. I mean , never have i seen a direct hit pipe deal anything less than 80.

And hitting moving targets with pipes now is just not even worth trying.

direct ones still make 90+
but the rolling ones are now “good” with 35-50

The first couple look fooked, should be fixed. But the rest seem more like what it should be, or example when he’s aiming behind his back and it isn’t hitting.

that change in the game was not even intended by valve. i guess they were only about to fix certain areas in certain maps (for example the aweome 6v6 comp map hoodoo), where the demoman could possibly be overpowered when he shoots 4 nades into a small corridor, a DAMN small corridor at least.

And yes: demoman mustnt be in ANY situation of this game ANY strong in ANY way since the class is totally imbalanced and overpowered and a noob class and you need no aim because there is a hitbox like a skyscraper around the target (not any more actually) and you do 1337 damage withtout reloading and you can sticky jump at the cost of NO health and you 2-shot every scout approaching you and you tripple airshot every soldier RJing into your face and not to forget that no class in this game has got the possibility to destroy stickies with a hit-scan-weapon…

jesus im tired of this… people whing since 2007.
