SourceMod has a ‘teleport player’ feature, if that is what you mean.
It is more a pun on ‘LagTastic Gaming’ so I want laggy players going to Badlands mid type of thing, so I need to a way of making people appear to be lagging.
I have a question, is there a way to turn everything off except hud? to make your screen for example black and the only thing that is shown onscreen is your hud.
I know that but i want to use it on already recorded demo with a footage.

this is your best shot, but you can’t remove the models, map structure so…

Thanks, it helped.
How to hide everything from hud except of crosshair (pldx tool)?

I am making player bars for the video, I am using this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0bLGH1AJzQ and this works ok but I would like to make one that moves using keyframing I was wondering how I would go about this or if there is a tutorial I could that would be great.

wanna use PLDX recording tool, if there is any difference somehow

download both of them
the tescofix.zip goes into tf/

Was wondering if someone could add me to help me with some rendering and encoding settings.
I’ve tried just about every method on youtube/guides posted here and am struggling to get the same kind of quality that most good fragmovies get.
This is the kind of quality that I’m getting at the moment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=besQxl7SO8A&fmt=22
but it is easier to see the quality difference when I record something from POV.
So far:
I have recorded all my demo’s to .tga’s using the pldx tool at 120fps (1280×720).
I have compiled theses .tga’s to uncompressed .avi files at 120fps (again using the pldx tool)
I have edited my clips in Sony Vegas Pro 8.0
I have exported from Vegas as an uncompressed .avi file at 60fps with these settings: http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/9320/setd.png
And then I have tried countless different encoders: PLDX encoder, MeGUI with every setting type under the sun, easyh264 etc. but I can’t seem to get something I’m happy looks as good as I know it can from other fragmovies.
Anyway, anyone who thinks they can talk me through rendering/encoding at a fragmovie quality then please do. I’m just looking to get something like this:

Thanks in advance folks! :)

Quality looks good to me! here’s what I do step by step, it seems a bit simpler than your process. It did seem a bit laggy but that’s probably the recording of the demo, not your recording of it…if you get me.
Anyway, record TGA with PLDX @ 240 FPS and 1280 x 720
Put through virtual dub at 240 FPS
Edit in vegas
Render with best quality, 20,000,000 bits, MP4, 1280 x 720, progressive scan, all things nice.
Done.
