First of all i’d like to thank the admins for running the cup, really appreciate it.
Second thanks for the massive amount of feedback and the teams that played the map I read everything and will adjust accordingly. Though I’d just like to say that last in theory should not be that hard to push but i will adjust it to hopefully make it less easy for teams that decide to turtle on the cp.
Other changes will mostly be around mid to make it more transparent and more flexible for scouts.

And thanks for making the map :) No doubt we need more alternatives to badlands/gullywash, that’s for sure!
It’s somewhat difficult to comment usefully after playing the map only three times, to be fair, so take things (or at least anything I posted) with a large pinch of salt. I know that my opinion of bazillion, for example, changed hugely over the course of a season in which we played it regularly and teams started to work up various tactics for it.
I’m not sure that last felt hard to push as such, more just easy to defend. If you know what I mean. Easy to pop the attackers’ uber early, and easy to sit a long way back from them and hold your own uber for a long time (you’ll see that in the recordings, popping the uber early with the roaming solly sat on the opposite platform, and then saving the defensive uber for a long time while letting a heavy soak up fire).

F Scouts really don’t have much options, other than go on Beach or play defensive and wait for openings.
I don’t agree with this. I found that the best option for scouts was to take control of the top of the cp and play aggressively. I’d say the mid point is controlled by the scouts and the demo. Soldiers don’t really have many options on the other hand. But that’s just what I think.

Less random playerclips where there is nothing blocking, especially right outside the left exit from last where I wanted to jump around as a demo but couldnt.
It used to be open chojje but i clipped it for comp. Don’t know if i ever will revert back to making it open again. The map used to allow a demo to jump all the way around.
Thanks for the mirror spike :)

Interesting. Feels like competitive players would appreciate such a flank; it would also speed up a left side rollout (that’s of course a question whether you want it or not). The impact it would have would be that demos could bomb alone a bit more; on the other hand it would be the only effect; soldiers can hardly use it without getting way too low, and a suiciding demo doesnt seem like such a viable tactic. Anyhow, if you decide to keep this I’d simply suggest some sort of visible reason for the playerclip, not to make people frustrated when seeing such a wonderful flanking route.
Flanking routes like this, only possible for *trickjumping* demomen and sollies, is something that I think has been experimented way too little with, if at all, in comp maps atm.

Thanks for the extra mirror atmo.
Chojje the whole purpose of that area was to allow for trickjumps but the route is pretty chokey already and having a death trap behind it didn’t help the viability of said route.
I have thought about blocking it more clearly but i didn’t want rockets stickies or pipes spamming up the area as much as they would with a wall.
