I never thought that there is something else than mirc. Can someone please explain what is NN script and what it does?

I used mirc up to the point where a friend showed me xchat, after that i was blessed.

Adds some very very minor improvements to mIRC, but otherwise it just makes everything look more complicated so people can feel more “1337”.
mIRC is just so incredibly bad. It massively, massively overcomplicates IRC. Its actually just such an amazingly simple thing to use and really just requires a couple of minutes reading on how it works, then just a quick read of the Q FAQ on the quakenet site, and you know almost everything you will ever likely need to know about IRC.
Use X-Chat 2, seriously, its just brilliant. (I say X-Chat 2 as there is a X-Chat 1 is a windows port that someone is charging for, X-Chat 2 is just the free linux version, but on windows. There is absolutely no difference.)
mIRC with the “nbs-irc”-addon. Used X-chat before that, but nothing can rival nbs mIRC.
And yes, I’ve bought it.
