wasn’t there a thread already where the general conclusion either was to at least remove mini-crits or better to remove mini-crits and set max damage to <125… ?
Hell no, the general consensus among all the powerful, elite and cool people was that the weapon is awesome, to be used everyday and that the clue-kids needs to be quiet. Didn’t you read the memo?

yeah lets ban everything that would change the gameplay. who needs new tactics, new maps, new weapons? pff nobody!
just stay with the same shit till we all die, so ban…i think we should test the weapons in a one day cup or make a poll.
i mean the FaN is also allowed :XAre you serious? you get a 180 damage rocket to the face if you jump or on stairs, airshots are incredibly easy now and again you get a 180 damage rocket to the face cos it’s so easy, a scout that comes close to a solly gets a 130 damage rocket to the face and dies in an instant.
Sure why not make a weapon that gimps the whole other team from walking, we still need to test it cos it might be balanced!@#!@#$!
if that weapon will come out you’ll be like omg stop banning weapons that bring new tactics to the game! (which by “new tactic” you mean make the whole other team crouch and not walk)

the whole game isnt balanced. a demo can take out a whole team without any problems and nobody cries: lets ban the demo!!! but a weapon with that you need to hit your opponent directly is overpowered … yeah totally. i mean the airshot thing is one point, but its the compensation for the fact, that you have to hit your opponent directly cause your splash radius is so tiny.
i think the new weapons will bring a lot more tactics to the gameplay. now the soldiers are more a target that you take serious instead of first killing everyone else.

The higher velocity is the tradeoff for less splash. Think for one second about the following comparison: Other classes have to hit small areas of the hitbox, or have to sneak behind you to deal high damage, and you think it’s fair you just have to hit any part of that hitbox and getting an award of ~130 damage? I agree that there’s a certain risk to render this weapon useless w/o any compensations, therefore the conclusion IMO is clear: You can direct-hit quite consistent with TDH at mid/long range, and reward it with less fall-off damage.
Why not spend less time on forums whining about new weapons and use the time to either a) meditate to relief stress, b) learn to live with it or c) play another game?
All this bullshit about new weapons comes up every time they make a change. The only weapon so far that has OBVIOUSLY been full-blown retarded, is the sandman. Reason for being so, is due to the fact that a random ball would stun a random player for too long, hence making the _largest_ single mistake any game-designer can do in a game — removing the controls from the person playing the game.
No gamer will ever enjoy this “punishment”, no matter what, and that is what made The Sandman both a catastrophe from a game-design point of view (what were they thinking…) as well as very unpopular with the mediocre stock playing the game and then also feeling the need to share this view with everyone else.
If you can’t figure TDH out, just do some more retarded stuff and limit solders to 1. That will be awesome. That might perhaps force the heavy-class, sniper-class or whatever into the game. This DUMB ASS assumption that the game HAS to be played with 2sc2so1de1me since someone did so over 2 years ago, is so crazy ass foolish it pains anyone sane to watch people “debate” WEAPONS (read: whine endlessly) to no end.
Since scout now got less random as well and an endless amount of boohoo started to pour out from the dams of sorrow, perhaps it’s the perfect time to limit scouts to 1 as well! 6v6 HL-rules — now, THAT would make for some truly SKILLBASED matches with oldskool-feeling and intuitive tactics, not to mention really SLOW games! Hooray!
You know that a soldier limit of 1 is the higher restriction than 2?
I’m not dwelling on your obvious long-winded trolling attempts, only one thing: There’s more than your favourite INSTA-RESPAWN 32 pub server where you can control really the whole time :D.

Why are you even mentioning 32 player limited pubs in this context? How do you figure that has _ANYTHING_ to do with a TF2-league?
