Soldier Weps, Overpowered or not?

I agree, ban sniper rifle, huntsman, the knife and sticky traps as well. Or at least nerf them so they doesn’t oneshot medics.
Then allow me to add: 1-shotting medic with a melee weapon from the front is bad
But hey, maxdamage now is like 155? And you need to be really low for that, so all in all it’s ok I guess.

max charge bodyshot by a sniper shouldnt do 150 dmg. A sniper wont rj to ur face and 1 shot you. A sticky trap wont rj to ur face and 1 shot you. A spy wont rj to your face and 1 shot you. Oh and a huntsman sniper wont rj to your face and 1 shot you. Got the point?
I dont get people who say bugle is OP, both teams can get it, both teams can build it. Its effect is no greater than jarate except bugle last less.
I mean if there was no uber when the game released, then suddenly 2 years later they added it people would complain and whine and moan that it was overpowered as well. This weapon could add SO much to TF2 comp.
Where would tf2 be without krits/ubers? Its what makes this game for people who play comp.
The only changes I suggest are to make bugle have some sort of ‘ready’ sound, kind of like an uber. Soldier could shout ‘Raller Round Boys!’ so the other team know it is charged.
It gives the bugle soldier something to thing about be more aggressive to build bugle or stay back.
Games will no longer be mainly whoever gets uber first and how you use it. It will add a new layer of depth.

On the other hand, the snipers don’t even need to rj in your face. They can stand in a safe distance and still 1 shot you without having to take the risk to rj at you…

I agree, ban scout. He runs faster than equalizer soldiers, has more hp, can double jump and doesn’t have to be within melee range to deal damage.

ye dont you just hate it when everyone runs a sniper all the time, in all the maps. Oh wait. (a sniper is a situational class, a solly isnt)

What if you inversely scale the rage charge rate with the number of players alive on the enemy team.
So if you take mid and the other team escapes with medic and soldier the charge rate is 2/6. On the flip side of this the the medic soldier combo will have super quick banner in comparison and might use it for a sneaky medic pick.
maybe its just me, but I find it easier as scout and especially sniper to kill TDH soldiers now, for sniper is obviously really, you scope-fire-unscope and provided you’re at a reasonable distance you can just sidestep and avoid all damage, as scout if the TDH soldier misses the first rocket he’s screwed, provided he isn’t buffed ofc – even better against the banner soldier, just keep a dodgeable distance, let him waste a few rockets then go at him

While both of those quotes are true I was just talking about the question of one shotting.
The sniper is a situational class, but it doesn’t change the fact that he can one shot people.
So it seems it is not really the one shotting that is the problem here since I guess most people is ok with the sniper ? It’s the one shotting combined with the movement possibilites that is the problem ?

Sniper are annoying to hit because of his thin posture. Especially at long range. Disagree on the scout part. You proved it yourself in a pug, you absolutely got destroyed by me as solly (same for jones). You even went soldier after you kept getting dicked :D. And now you can go “omg just a pug, my team was shit” but surely that wouldn’t have stopped you from killing me or my medic? Our medic didn’t even die for the entire duration of the pug (I ended with 15+ frags and 3 deaths myself). Surely with the inability of the tdh to hit scouts you would have destroyed him or me (You as a div1 supah skilled player vs a div3 shitter soldier)? And to be honest, I thought we were going to get rolled when I saw the teams.
Now, don’t take this to serious. But I do want to say that you come here posting your opinions like facts while your own play proves you are wrong.
