i dont honestly get the point of “limit 1” when discussing weapons instead of classes
Should be class limit one, for a few reasons:
1. Scouts influence in 6’s is too much, with many games 75% of all kills are from the scattergun alone (see cevo stats)
2. It’s a game of nine class, yet only soldier, demo, scouts and medic are mostly played, going CL1 would mean sniper and heavy would be mainstream
3. It will enlarge the community by bringing in players who main as heavy or sniper or even pyro, whilst spreading the established talent (i.e,. scouts and soldiers) to other teams.

You will need an umbrella after this,but to be honest I think the same.
I only see a bad thing in this idea,and is that the game will lose a bit of speed,but people will come with a lot of new ways to play in the maps.
For example a Yukon match the other night
scattergun 83 kills (4 scouts)
tf_projectile_rocket 38 (3 soldiers, one played sniper hence)
tf_projectile_pipe_remote 37 (2 demos)
tf_projectile_pipe 14 (2 demos)
I only see a bad thing in this idea,and is that the game will lose a bit of speed,———>but<——— people will come with a lot of new ways to play in the maps.

It’s not the “community” as a whole which is scared, it’s the few top teams who know their success is dependant on their scout duo, not their heavy classes. CL1 would help level the playing field, and these top teams know it and would fight against such change

Been thinking about it for a while and class limit 1 could really work in favour of the game – “odd” class setups would suddenly become useful and we increase the longevity of the game by making it more varied.
The only real problem with it is that we might risk slowing down the game a bit but not much really. There are more pro’s than con’s personally, such as less spam (one less solly makes a big difference), a larger arsenal of tactics and actually seeing some really skilled pyro/sniper/heavy/spy gameplay instead of everyone maining the same 4 classes.
Admins should put up a poll for class limit 1/2 after the other polls have finished.

sounds to me like you just admitted your scouts grape and your heavy classes wouldn’t be as good if limits were set
this seems to become useless… do you guys really think about what you write?
CL1 … How will that game ever be competetive with prizes and other things if we do shit like this! Sniper, Pyro, Spy and Heavy are support classes which can help in special situations, but are not usefull for allover games! …
