I think Webb did fine got some decisions wrong, if he wasn’t so lenient with some of the fouls committed then the dutch would of had 3 off and Spain 1 to be honest, but because it was the final, he didn’t want to ruin the match by making it like 8 vs 10 lol…

Overall Spain deserved to win had much more chances.

Felt sorry for Robben and the Goal keeper from NL, and if you look at the previous pages in this thread what did I say about Holland and losing their cool? And someone would be sent off? :D If Spain keep passing it there was no way the dutch were gonna not foul xD.

Got to agree with byte. If Webb had given red for some of the early horrendous challenges then it would have ruined the final.
Overall though, well done Netherlands. They were great fun to watch. But I think the best team won.

But a referee at this level shouldn’t give away a goal kick when it’s clearly a corner (the shot were the wall was hit and the goalie also touched it). It made me go wtf . Probably wouldn’t have had any effect on the outcome though, but still very sloppy.

Just wondering here, did the ref book the whole Dutch team? Cause it looked like it.

Honestly thought Netherlands would have won, but I was hoping Spain would beat them and they did, wp :D
