Tried installing ell’s and broesel’s HUD but keep getting this error:

” cannot load file : ‘scripts/items/items_game.txt’ ”

Anyone knows how to fix this?

DOC

delete weird readme’s or try a different hud

AnimaL

that file has nothing to do with hud

you should verify game cache

Delete any items_game.txt files you can find, then verify the cache.

the resource & scripts folders into the tf folder?

You need to make a folder in custom and put resource and scripts there

I don’t have a “yourfolder” in custom, there’s only “workshop” and “readme”

Btw I’m using a cfg made on this website: http://clugu.com/tf2mate/ (dunno if that matters)

You have to create a folder inside custom with a name that you want, for example “myhud”, TF2 will treat it as a tf folder and will take the things from there, so you will have tf/custom/myhud/scripts etc, although you have to delete the things that you replaced before in the tf folder and only leave them in the custom folder
