You actually hit a model and damage does not register. Pipe just flows throw models – head, leg, feet, arm etc. Just try it out yourself to see what it actually is. How can you call that a fix?

For the most part the pipe hitboxes were fine before imo. Only rarely and mainly when playing scout vs highpingers it looks like demo can miss the player model and still register a direct hit.

I’m not against smaller hitboxes (It made QL better for example) but for pipes only a small adjustment would work well. Certainly I don’t want pipes to go through arms, torso etc without registering a hit.

Doesn’t appear fixed to me but then again I might be playing on server not updated…

Annoying thing is Valve made such a shit update for the demoman, tried to turn him into a WoW barbarian william fucking wallace warrior and gave us 3 shit new weapons, whilst the Soldier gets 2 good new weapons that can be adapted and used in a game as strategy and a massively overpowered melee weapon that is too good not to use.

Then nerfed the pipes, I mean they made it so small it is like 98% impossible to hit some people from certain angles bearing in mind lag compensation.

Glad it is fixed.
