Somebody emailed Valve and the grenade is a taunt kill.

I don’t know why everyone hates the shield already, it could be really useful, nobody knows.

i want the shield just because it looks fun

For me personally, im most interesting the in equalizer. I regularly run out of ammo after attacking the heavier classes only to be left with a scout up my arse with no means to deal with him quickly, the shovel is just useless. So, depending on the range, damage and increased speed, this could really make a difference in these cases.

I read somewhere that the weapon would, if you’re on say 20 health do 180 damage to the enemy or if you’re on 50 health it’d do 150 damage (ie,. it does to the enemy whatever health has been taken off yourself) but it wouldn’t damage if you’re buffed.

With the new RL you should be able to finish off the heavy classes much easier. So you got your shotty left for the scout :P
