If you think about the tradeoffs for other unlocks (blutz, ubsaw, natasch, KGB, fireaxe, etc.), the tradeoff isnt that massive, even for those that require strategic use (backburner).
I doubt that they’d do as big a tradeoff as removing doublejump if you have it equipped at all.
For those who say ‘who would use the normal bat’, isnt that what people asked about ubersaw? and blutsauger?

None of those weapons are worth using… Force-A-Natures knockback is poor… The energy drink doesn’t let you use weapons when running and u have to see a cut-scene of you drinking it so it’s shit for getting away… The bat may be good in certain situations but losing double jump even when it’s just equipped is annoying and too much of a debuff.
Well the ball recharge is too slow making it ineffective imho. Still I reckon it’ll be good for holding points like cp5.

FAN is pretty useless
Energy drink may have some uses, such as using it instead of an uber to take out a sentry since most of the fire will be on you if you head out first. Could also be used for retreating.
Sandman will have its uses too, mainly I think for a surprise tactic or defending the last point during the uber push.
Spy update is good, cept you can’t sidestab or do any overhead stab as consistently now.
And you can view the enemy’s health as spy.

It’s little wierd to change a map mid season?
