Yes, 0 fps has been changed on a demo which is over 200 days old, and therefore has none of the new (badly optimised) weapons in it. As well as this, as it was a league match (I assume), it probably didnt have things such as the Direct Hit being used.
chris already said its the gpu that renders weapon polygons… gpu is the least used component in ur pc if u apply fps cfg on tf2… there is pleanty of free computing power if ur gpu costs at least 50 quid so stop whining

Afaik they’re working on a large scale performance update with proper lods for all weapons and something else.
