Good thing they are working on it already, though I still wonder, what are your thoughts concerning Valve’s work on TF2 the last year?
they should stop adding hats and shitty weapons
also, i’m still waiting on ‘meet the pyro & medic’

Give Chris a job at Valve and you would be able to play tf2 on commodore 64

On that map only. Direct Hit still has like 18k polygons.

do a fuckin timedemo idiots.. 0 fps has been changed on snowies timedemo… fuck off
also weapons already have lod… not that it matters for pc’s with decent gpu’s anyway – same fps with high or low

i’m not sure if you understand what is meant by “new weapons”… if you’re playing the same demo over and over, of course you’re going to get the same fps…
also, not all weapons currently have lod, that’s not true. is this post a troll, or is this serious? if so, this is your least informative post yet.

I have come to the conclusion that Chris has no knowledge at all of computers – he just posts with such confidence that we have all grown to accept whatever he says. No one understands what he’s actually saying so they keep quiet and nod however secretly Chris has no idea what he is talking about himself and just shouts numbers and false facts at everyone.

either way, it’s the gpu (in source engine, and most other 3d games that require realtime output), but it’s a really obvious question…

Yes, 0 fps has been changed on a demo which is over 200 days old, and therefore has none of the new (badly optimised) weapons in it. As well as this, as it was a league match (I assume), it probably didnt have things such as the Direct Hit being used.
