oh wow, yanks coming in with the “dont nerf equalizer” shit…
keep up the good work, if yanks are disagreeing, you must be doing it right
I actually like the idea of giving the shovel the speed boost and leaving the equalizer damage as it is, you’d get jumping solly melee kills but you wouldn’t get a soldier running at the speed of sound and hitting you for 110 damage.

LOOK THEY’RE NAMED CORRECTLY AND NOT cp_5gorgevaz!
These forums are actually painful to read now…
Can’t we create a subforum on etf2l, collect feedback there and submit to the TF2 community team?
Just a note to anyone with a Pixel Gaming server, I’ve slipstreamed those new maps into the update system as a TF2 update with the names “cp_5gorgebeta” and “cp_granarybeta”, so restarting your server will automatically install them on your server (and put them on your servers fast download so players can download the map simply by joining the server).

That, or have regular threads that stand out from the others and have constructive debate: http://etf2l.org/forum/general/topic-14698/page-2/?recent=252791#post-252678
My feeling for this moment is that Gorge is even more huge than Fastlane, I mean literally HUGE. There’s not much of a strict gamespace compared to the map’s size. Last is all about chokes, only flanking opportunity is that through right doorway.
The problem is it’s a pain for CMs to sort through the trash and the gold, especially if they are not deeply familiar with competitive play themselves. You can make an amazing thread full of accurate observations and suggestions, however the discussion that follows is not necessarily going to be constructive, and it’s difficult for someone not familiar with 6v6 to weed out the good comments.
It would be good if we can come up with some feedback as a community from the largest competitive league in Europe. We can summarise the good discussions, compile them into a report and send it directly.

I can’t think logically at 3 in the morning! I’m surprised I managed to spell it right

+1
the fact that the “competitive” forum is already on 2 pages worth of topics after not even 24 hours is proof that we need to be more organised about this.

I particularly enjoyed this topic where the guy suggests demoman is OP and should be limited to only having either his sticky launcher and pipe launcher equipped at any one time (making him the only class in the game with 2 weapon slots, fucking racist)
Last edited by Skyride,
Just finished playing double-mix on TF2 beta :D (Thanks to skyride http://www.pixelgaming.eu for server). On granary it wasn’t anything really new but we tried different natasha’s, variation 1&2: the one with -40 damage was bad and this one Spin-up/down time increased, slowdown-on-hit effect falls off over distance was really sick, worked epic for both teams.
Also played gorge and it’s completely too big/ open for 6v6 gameplay. Way too much space, kinda hard to scout and middle is really bad…
That’s it i guess.

Thing is, I don’t really want to make a etf2l forum section for this either as that would have some of the same problems, and I think having our voice on the steamforums is important as well.
I am not really gonna discuss with noobs who dont know what competitive means. I think those forums should be kept private from the steamforum trolls if you want to have a usefull conversation.
