FPS SUX???!!!

I have chris’s maxframes cfg running with -dxlevel 80. I have ragdolls and gibs enabled. When I get to mid point on gullywash my fps drops right down to 4. On Freight I would be lucky to get 2. On Badlands 11-17. My fps is fine anywhere else it’s because mid point is generally huge. Is there any way I can have a half decent fps here?

Lower your resolution to absolute minimum.
That’s what I did.
And disable your ragdolls etc.

seems like your graphics card memory is too small
lower resolution yeah..
My res is 800 x 600 or something like that
Maybe ragdolls and gibs disabled will make it slightly better.

Admittedly I always have to get laptops due to the fact that I’m not ever in the same house two weeks in a row(NO I AM NOT A TRAVELLER)But it has 4gb’s of ram, 500gb HDD, intel core 2 duo processor t6400 2.0ghz 800 mhz FSB. Intel GMA 4500MHD Up to 1244 mb. Is this good or bad for a laptop that cost 600 euros.

The 2.0ghz cpu is your problem.

he is playing prolly on native res with that integrated gpu which is why game runs at 2fps
2ghz c2d will do smth like 30-40fps on 6v6 mids but u have to have a graphics card
my duo core gives out 60on mids! 2.5ghz. So that + ur graphics card is the problem!

Omg my intergrated intel gpu that’s barely capable of running HD material can’t run tf2 properly. Fix plz

My laptop used to have 2.0 Ghz before i upgraded it and i was pulling off 60+ fps on mid with 12v12 on it :)
