I had wireless too, I had same problem, now I have wired net, works fine, no lags, spikes etc…

there are 1001 reasons why wireless lags

i did find mine tho: w7 did full wireless client checks every few min, which dropped me for 10sec

fixed it by getting this exe: http://www.martin-majowski.de/

dunno if works for xp

don’t use windows zero cfg tool, and wifi problems are normally fixed

if the problem happens when you are wired as well, contact your isp
