Improve the spectator mode

The spectator mode is pretty good, but it can be improved. When you are spectating a CS match you can see where are all the players in the map. If you don’t know what i’m talking about, this is an example: http://box.jisko.net/i/54bd69.jpg
I think that feature would be really good for TF2, teamplay and tactics are very important in this game. I’ve made an example: http://box.jisko.net/i/baf06d.jpg
We could suggest this option to VALVe.

having never played CS, is this map ‘screen’ able to be toggled? I like it the way it is, if you want to get an overview just press spacebar and freecam above them
You can change to first person, third person, free mode and map mode.

When i cast then I miss CS spec a lot…this overview thingy gives you such a great view of the game…

PROBLEM IS:
1. There is no radar in tf2 to my knowledge.
2. Valve will have to make an overhead image for every map ever created.
3. Unlike CS, maps are not flat.
4. Can’t think of one. Read 1., 2. and 3. again while I think.

Nah, they simply parse the server logs.
