I have set up the above group with the aim of geting a group of players willing to play medic together in one place, so if people are putting a mix together or need a merc medic they have a place where they might just find one.

If you want to be added to the group let me know, only real entry requirment is having the chief of staff achievment, if you aint got 1 million healing you aint a medic yet :)

This may be pointless, but i have seen worse ideas work, so what the hell! It cost nothing to do, and took no time

If you don’t want to play medic, you can’t join the group…
So how could you message the medics in the group? :/

That has been changed, the group is now public, all medics will be made officers, so you can easily tell who the medics are (note medics contact me to be made an officer)

But, as a Medic I (personally!) see two Problems:
a) Teams that play offclass or try funtacticts, w/o telling you beforehand and so you/I end up dying constantly with no one who cares.

b) You’re a decent Medic and all the Teams playing are Div6 or “below” -> certainly no fun as a Med.

There are reasons why so few are willing to play med in mixes (I count myself as one) That is why in the past I accepted almost every request, but since sometimes playing is more frustrating than fun I nowadays choose carefully who to play with.

Same here, this is a great idea but I don’t think I have anything to contribute as of now. I’ll most likely join when I get past this nub stage though :)

No no I think you’re misunderstanding me. I’m saying it’s ME who sucks too much to join something like this. I don’t really want to let random people down or anything and that’s why I’m not gonna join yet.

When I get better as a Medic, I most likely will, but for now I’ll leave it to the more skilled among us ;)
