Hallo!

The voting system is used to agree on some quite important rules for this league. As anyone (players, clan admins, visitors) is able to vote on these rules (as often as they like), I believe that the integrity of the vote ist tainted. I’d prefer a voting system that allows one vote per signed-up team or per active player in that league.

Hey,

ye some people made up his mind they would prefere another voting system. We will have that in mind and give it a try for the 2nd Season votes probably. For this first season we decided to get most biggest community opinion; everybody should be able to give his opinion. And you can’t vote as often as you like to.
For next season votes we will discuss the system again and prolly only registered players can vote by then. There won’t be any important rule votes for leaders only, as some member of clans have different opinions aswell. Leaders won’t discuss every vote with their members but just vote their own opinion, which would “fuck” the vote up.

Personally, I’ll go along with any ruleset that is decided by the votes.

Don’t forget, TF2 is a new game and out-of-the-box not finely tuned for competitive play. We all have to see what impact on the actual clan-gameplay it has when classlimits, nocrit and new scoring systems (for dustbowl and granary) become reality.
I’m well aware that currently the community is split in many factions: clans playing only matches with nocrit, others that only allow medlimit 1. ETF2L is, in my opinion, a perfect way to try all those different settings and just see what works and what doesn’t.
Season 2 might have a completely different ruleset, but as a basis for that discussion we’ll just *have* to agree on a 1st season set of rules.

TF2 is still undergoing alot of changes rule-wise. Experience and time will tell what could become a “standard” for fun and fair competitive play. So let’s give those votes a chance and se what happens.
