Hello all,
BlackOut Gaming are running a 6v6 cup for TF2 players who are completely new to competitive play, however some experienced players are also welcome:

We’ve also got a prize pool to make things interesting, which will increase depending on the number of signups:
2 Teams – €60 (€60 1st Place)
4 Teams – €120 (€90 1st Place, €30 runner-up)
8 Teams – €240 (€180 1st Place, €60 runner-up, consolation final for 6 x crate keys and 6 x copies of Dota 2)
We’re looking for up to 8 teams to compete in a 1 day event starting on Saturday 16th February from 2pm CET onwards. Please check the link above for cup rules and information. Signups will close by the end of Saturday 9th February.

Koseklubben (http://etf2l.org/teams/16160/) are interested. Just depends on if we have time. Saturday is a hard day to get the team together.

Only two of your roster there are allowed I’m afraid (see rules regarding prior experience in the thread).
Setlet, if you can’t find other players to form a team then feel free to put your name down and I will try and arrange a mix team (pending player numbers).
Xaero, does TA have regulars which don’t play 6v6/highlander? I’ll probably look into reaching out to other communities.

Ah, I see. No experience at all. Seems like a good idea. Something etf2l should be doing too, imo to get new people playing.

If Blackout Gaming ever so desires, the ETF2L *can* in fact host this cup, with reference to them sponsoring it.
Similar to the NE cup recently.

I greatly appreciate that Panromir, although it will probably just complicate things to try and switch to a new system/signup format now.
Perhaps if this cup is a success then we can host one on ETF2L if the offer still stands?

I assume my mentoree team http://etf2l.org/teams/7954/ isn’t allowed to play? They never even play TF2, I just forced them to try 6v6 when I played a medic for them. And we got the silver trophy :D

I’m afraid not, sorry. Are you willing to play Medic anyway? You can bring in another player from that roster too.

Ye I can play as a medic/offclass for a random mix team, if you are able to gather one. I don’t think anyone from my mentoree team would join, they don’t play TF2 at all.
