The answer is really simple here. I’m not skyride and I’m not the saviour of TF2. I never claimed to be that. Just because I don’t want to spend lots of money or put up with your bullshit does not make me a bad person. I will happily admit that people like Skyride, Arie and Snelvuur have done and continue to do more for the community. But just because I’m not as nice as them, does not make me bad. There is no such thing as real altruism, they just get more out of helping people then I. As to your other points, I have addressed them in the post above.

Crafz: You did something good, like really good, for this community. It seems you expect to get ‘huge props’ or whatever you cool kids call it these days, for your efforts and that everyone should bow down to your awesomeness and respect your ‘authoritah’ without question. This is the way you have come across in this thread, look guys, I made this, now tell me how amazing I am or else you can’t play with it…
I created the newbie mixes, (well, Chaplain and I). We put a LOT of time into it, like hosting 10 mixes a day at the start. Some people didn’t like it. Most people did. I didn’t wade around the forums slagging off others who were offering mentoring services or raging at some well meant criticism.
Yes, I heard the same thing over and over again because guess what…people aren’t privvy to your private steam conversations and have no way of knowing what issues had already been brought to your attention. Get a grip. If you make something and invite feedback then…you may get some feedback.
I’m gobsmacked at your peevishness and general attitude in this thread and the pixel one, you sound like a massive bellend.
Thought that might be a good thing to know, another perspective can be so refreshing.

Ok, to clarify. It might be surprising to you but. When you praise me I don’t feel ANYTHING. I can very well determine myself what’s good and what’s not.

Yes, asking people to not be a dick towards you is too much to ask if you are acting like a dick. People are just treating you accordingly, and if you haven’t realised that, then you are stupid. Stupid, not ignorant. Stupidity is lack of intelligence, ignorance is just lack of knowledge of relevant facts. You are stupid because you lack the intelligence to draw the conclusion that if you act like a dick to people trying to help you, then you will be treated accordingly.
Also, being insecure and having a huge ego are not mutually exclusive. You have a huge ego because you want to claim that it is “MY pick-up”, while being insecure on how people react to you, as shown here in the forum.

True, you caught me on that one but. This post is old, at that time, the website was even more buggy and insecure then it is now. Trath wasn’t really around much either. If I left then, it would have died very soon after that anyway. Besides, shortly after that I decided to just leave the thread.

No, I explained in an earlier post already. Just because I’m not being nice to assholes like Hallow, does not mean that I’m insecure. I don’t go around stalking him on the internet. I just don’t want to give him free stuff. And who else’s pickup is it? In the end, it would never have come to exist if it wasn’t for me.
