Good read mate, and absolutely agree. Unfortunately a lot of people will not understand mature context of this decision.
perhaps you could improve the quality of the admin team in the pug channel, yes i am saying that the standard of admins in the channel could be better.

Nice to see it going vanilla+medlocks, looking forward to playing there in 3490-ish days.

Awesome :)) What about the equalizer is that banned now as well?
Anyway i think there should be some sort of skill system, that puts players in to teams accordingly, since i’ve played a lot of pickups where half of my or my opponents team were full of prem, but no prem on the opposing side. And those games always ended very fast.

Sort this, bring back equalizer.
Screw’s rollouts up, plus there is not league ban on this anywhere. so does not make pickups that good for practice now, just makes the medics job harder.

if you happen to have an idea of how to write php code that balances teams and gives some more weight to demos & scouts etc then come forward :P I dont know how far Adam has gotten really…

Uh ESL has banned it. Its a weapon that makes roll-outs and heal-orders piss easy.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME MAPS HAVE DIFFERENT ROLLOUTS TO OTHERS, THE ONE DESCRIBED BELOW IS CP_BADLANDS AS IT IS THE MOST PLAYED MAP
Vanilla medic heal order:
1. heal demo as usual
2. make sure one soldier doesn’t jump in spawn (he will be the one who is normally pocket)
3. switch to the soldier who doesn’t jump as soon as the demoman has jumped from spawn, buffing him at the max rate to 300 hp.
4. switch to the scouts once that soldier hits 300 hp and buff them both fully one after the other
5. switch to the soldier who did jump in spawn and heal him all the way to mid (normally aggro soldier)
6. once you reach just outside of mid heal the soldier who didnt jump again.
If you do this correctly your team should have at mid: 2 scouts with a little buff roughly 150hp, 2 soldiers with 300~hp and demoman normal health. This does however rely on the soldier who isn’t healed to not fail his jumps.
Soldier rollout without equalizer:
1. determine before the game starts who should jump in spawn.
2. if you jump in spawn jump once in spawn and then once again from spawn doors
3. if you don’t jump in spawn, don’t jump in spawn. just do a normal rollout to mid and assuming the medic is semi decent and you dont fail your jumps, you should have between 250-300 hp at mid.
