WE ARE OVERDRIVE!

Skill level: “Div 4/5”

We’re looking for a regular Scout.

Our team is generally quite liberal; we don’t require you to wear the same avatar or wear a tag. We’re aiming to participate in division 5 for season 9 with the view to quickly establish ourselves and get promoted to Division 4 because we know we can make it with practice.

With that said, however, we are willing to take on people outside our skill range and bring them to our level; a majority of our roster comprise of players that are more than happy to chip in a comment or two in order to help each other improve.

What we’re looking for is:
– Decent experience – Although we’re willing to bring in potential players from outside our skill level, we are looking for players that know the basics, e.g. the defensive positioning for Scout on the more popular maps (Badlands, Granary, etc). Div5+ Experience is a must.

– Good comms
– English speaking (to a reasonable level)
– Good gamesense
– Good DM-skills.
– Willing to improve and take criticism
– Sociable
– Knows what an “airshot” is…
– NO Russkis.
– NO clanhoppers.
– NO ragers (on mic, anyway)

What can Overdrive offer you?
– We play from 21:00 to 23:00 CET Saturday to Thursday with the odd day off here and there.
– A bunch of very approachable guys all willing to improve.
– A mumble server.
– A warserver.
– A bunch of “skilled” and “experienced” players. Oh, and Leftism…
– A majority of us are LAN-able (we’ve got three people going to i43).

    Our Demoman should be back this week so we’ll try and continue trials from there. Although Chaos would like to stress that he isn’t accepting steam friend requests from people looking for trials, so if you’re interested hop on the #overdrive (@ Q’net) irc channel or just reply here and we’ll get back to you.

    We have also had a number of players who were looking to join but could not do the times we asked, this is a fault on our part seeing as we didn’t put the times on this post. So just to clarify, applications should make sure that they can play between 20:00-22:00 on most days. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. :(
