Get rid of your pens, for this is the ultimate showdown in Prem this season. Both teams have fought tooth and nail to get here. Shedding blood, sweat, tears, and presumably other bodily fluids as well, to get to this point. But gosh darnit they made it! Se7en are no strangers to this position this being the third consecutive time they’ve made it all the way to the Grand Final. It should be mentioned that they also won on all three of those occasions. For LEGO this will mark their first foray into a Grand Final since they won Division 1 in Season 19. You think that was long ago? Consider that LEGO has competed since season 10. With this information at hand it doesn’t seem unlikely that two teams with pedigrees such as this are facing each other in the finals. But it hasn’t been a smooth road to get there, we have seen a fair share of upsets this season, LEGO being at the centre of many of them: Beating Se7en in the regular season and narrowly securing this spot in the finals against Full Tilt. But Se7en have never faltered, they have tried different class changes but adding new medic Raymon has seen a new resurgence in the team and gave them the edge to beat LEGO in the upper bracket. Anti-Cheat Staff Applications

We’d like to use this opportunity to remind everyone that the AC staff is recruiting again. This time, we’re looking for two individuals. Users that have already attempted applying for AC staff can also re-apply.

AC members need to be trustable and have a good sense of morality, as well as being excited by the detective work, the technical aspects of the source engine that comes with demo viewing and cheats. It’s also important to have no bias and be respectful of the democratic process on voting.

Please don’t be intimidated to apply, it’s a position that you can really only improve on with real experience.

Check these guidelines for a more in-depth description of the application process. If you don’t fill out the application properly, we will likely deny your application. Promising candidates with an extensive application will be interviewed and welcomed to staff.

After having most of Season 24 cleared out of the way, save for the Playoffs and the obligatory awards poll – It is time for the best players of each country to group up together and prove that their country is the best!

The Cup will feature a Group Stage and a single-elimination Tournament, and will take place throughout July and August, with a possible break for i58 if needed. Each country will be represented by one team consisting out of players of the same nationality, led by a Captain chosen through the applications process.

National teams are created and managed by Captains chosen out of submitted applications. Each Captain will pick the best possible roster from among their countrymen and lead their glorious squadron to victory. There are no restrictions on which players you can field in your team, so long as they are of your country’s nationality and are eligible to play in ETF2L.

To apply, send an email to [email protected], explaining why you should be your country’s captain and describe your planned national roster. Applicants who have experience leading successful ETF2L teams and a good reputation in the scene will be given priority. This should be self explanatory  but you should include at least your nickname and your ETF2L profile link in the application letter.
Also please use the pre-fix [ETF2L] in your email’s subject, for example [ETF2L] NC6 Captain’s Application Germany.

Captain Applications will close on Tuesday, July 19th at 20:00 CEST. Only approved Captains and their National Teams will be added to the competition.
