Do you need arma 2, or just DayZ now? Or didnt anything change and you still need arma 2.

You only need dayz.
Also I had this feeling that the devs copied the graphics and the atmosphere from Warz (infestation: survivor stories), which is believed to be a copy of dayz mod. There is still lot to be done with dayz but if you played dayz mod and loved the idea behind it like I did, then you should buy this and support the further updates of this game.
interesting fact you can jump into the floor of some buildings and be a ground shark.

I have yet to find food, but other than that it’s quiet okay, allthough I don’t get how this game is still in alpha despite them working on it for so long.

I got guns, food, drink and everything you want with my friend. Then when we wanted to log out he climbed on a ladder with a small platform on top, when i tried to climb it i glitched out because there was no room left and i fucking fell to me death… It took me like 2 hours to even get there :(
