Div 2/Div 3 Skill, 6v6

Hey there!
I'm quite an experienced FPS player. I've only played scout in div6, but that means nothing. My team has mostly been inactive and i have been playing higher div mixes and pickups for a while.
I havent joined higher divs, and people have kept telling me to, its become like the 40-yearold virgin in a sense like I've just kept putting it off for so long its become this scary monster type thing.
So I've finally decided to get through with it. Trial me!

My experience in higher divs as said is minimal, so im aiming at the level I've been told to try, you have nothing to lose with trialling me, and maybe something to gain. My power is my aim

You realise there is a difference between high div mixes and high div pcws right?
Yes, ofc. Ive seen matches. I think im capable of doing the same manouvers as the scouts there.
It’s not that easy as you make it to be.
Sure you might have div 3/2 aim but that means shit if you haven’t got exp and gamesense.

He can handle div 3 with scout, no problemo.

You do realize that trialling me does not mean that you have to take me to an important official DIV 2 match right? Some mixes would probably do, its enough to determine a players skill.

I didnt say that!! I said you can determine a players skill by the way he plays mixes etc. It shows potential, and it also gets the teams members to get to know the player better as opposed to just judging him based off his recruitment page.
If ur so unsure about me why dont u just start by getting one of ur best scouts to 1v1 me, as 1v1 skill may not mean shit, but it shows potential!

at least give him a shot…why not? he can probably handle it and if he can’t nothing bad will happen other than you saying no.
How well did you play quake?
As we all have seen aim carries over and if they are intellegent enough to play on a high level of an fps game they can go over to another game pretty easily, we’ve seen this multiple times with people like Rulah who rapes every game he enters and Geny who has a long history of FPS games.
FYI I dont play quake for the aim aspect of it, only the brain. Timing, situation awareness the positioning and movement is what im there for. Not to brag or anything but ive lost to Rulah maybe twice? after 15 games or so, and Geny, never lost. MGE that is. Again, not to brag, but yesterday I played a really even game vs k1llsen(IEM world championship winner 2010) in quake. The game ended up 13 – 6 for him on dm13, but the scores were tied for about 6 mins in to the game.
This is why I keep telling you, I know on what level of play div3/2 is and I know what im giving myself in to. TF2 may not be like quake, but I know that I definitely have the brain to play on this level.

this is just ridiclulous.
since over 3 months now every fucking div4 player is “div1/2″ when he opens a recruit…
then there comes a gamer from a game along, that actually, talking about aim and game pace, has somehing to do with tf2 (different from css for example) and seems to be a nice guy, and it doesn take long for people like clippen or deahliger to come in here and destroy his enthusiasm, even though he said it is not too easy for him to rate himself that high, but he got convinced by other people to do so. i mean – are u mentally rearded? not everybody is faking his skill.
people like fish, hopefully every etf2l admin, and generally a lot of people in tf2, mentor, talk, post, answer, and mix their asses off, to give new people the interest and the gamesense to develop their tf2-game and actually get good. this here is such a player, that could be attracted and worked on by some higher-div-team and instead of telling him mixes have nothing to do with a skill level, just because you dont wanna think a rather new player can recach your skill level in such a short time.
stop destroying his fucking enthusiasm and give this player a chance, judging from his recruitment post he is a nice guy and not the usual “LULZ GUYS IM NEW HERE BUT DIV2 EZ!”.

I haven’t played with the dude, so I couldn’t say whether he has beast aim / gamesense / awareness / whatever, but he seems honest enough about his abilities. Might just be worth giving him a trial, it will not hurt if your team has not found that perfect fit just yet. He might just be it (then again, he might not). While it’s hard to verify his skill level, it might just be the real deal.
Then again, if you trial him and he is disappointing you badly, you can always whine afterward, with a bit more certainty – or you might have found yourself a scout.
As long as he is upfront about his lack of experience, I don’t really see the problem, as such: the only ones that can judge are people who has played with or against him. Obviously the chances that he is yet another, I’m suddenly d2 guy isn’t out of the question, but neither is the alternative.

idk bout tf2 to be honest but on quake he can take top 20 in europe/world lol
