The small drawing to the left of his nickname symbolises something called a “flag”.
A flag is a piece of fabric, often flown from a pole or mast. It’s used for identification or signalling.
Flags originated in China or India, but have since then conquered the world.
In this particular case we’re dealing with a “National Flag”. A National Flag represents a certain nation. Had you been more adept in vexillogy, you would have known that this flag (the term flag can also be used in referrence to the symbol on the actual fabric-flag itself, depicted another medium.) is the flag of the United States of America (USA).
This indicates that this person is currently living in, or was born in, the USA.
Since the USA have their own leagues for Team Fortress 2, (High pings are the cause of this; will explain that as well if needed) we can only assume he’s already played Team Fortress 2 in the American “scene”, and therefor is, in fact, Mid- skilled.

Anathema can you please explain me in another lovely wall of text why we don’t all play in the same league, americans and europeans in different league seems a bit like racism to me, I thought maybe you could clear that up for me.
To clear everything up. Yes, I do have / play for my own team in US. I just have a lot of time on my hands and nothing better to do then play TF2. Below are links to my teams last season record. So, you have an idea.
