I've called time on a fantastic 15 months with my Vertex team and its various incarnations, and I'm now looking for a new team to play in. Over the last year and a bit the team has gone from being a terrible equivalent to Div 7 to getting promoted to Division 2, and I'm immensely proud of the efforts not just from the current team but also by the previous players too. Sadly with the quality of the players who are in the squad now, it's next to impossible for me to break up the excellent partnership that Shifty and YoungBlood share, and quite frankly I'd rather play TF2 than spectate.
I play scout at a mid level (for the purposes of everyone calling themselves mid these days – this means upper div3), and I'm looking for a team at that level. I don't really want to play in the lower divisions as it doesn't interest me as much. I'm a competitive player and I enjoy winning games.
I will be reasonably rusty for a while as I benched myself for the last 2 months or so, meaning I've only played games a couple of times each week. If I can find the right team to play in, I will put in the effort to get back on form as quickly as I can for you.
I'm English, based in the south of England and I'm available most evenings between 20-23CET, 4 nights per week. I can play earlier/later if required or on other days, but I would ask you to respect the fact that I run 2 businesses in the UK, I'm a head admin for ETF2L and I will continue to manage the Vertex brand. I just want to play games, so please consider me for this alone :)
Since this is probably a wall of text, I'll condense it for you:
* Mid (upper div3) Scout
* Good comms, non-raging
* English
* 26 years old – reasonably mature :p
* Happy to watch demos and work on my own game or help others in the team to improve
* Available 4-5 nights per week (Sun-Thurs), but would prefer to play 4 max if possible.
* Can play between 20-23CET.

D2M is a good guy and would fit in well as a scout in any Div3 team. He really loves the game and always wants to improve.
p.s He is head admin so if you have him in your team you can all use 2D radars and he’ll keep the anti-cheat team off your back!

Not seen him play for ages, but vertex just became div 2, pretty much covers the skill bit, yeah?

Great to have around, even when hes trolling (wanker). A little rusty but from what i’ve seen it wouldn’t take much for him to get back on form (ie: two shotting both enemy scouts while I watch impotently from the battlements.
