Mid Skill, 6v6

Cobra Gaming did not come to fruition due to the departure of our prospective demoman, and our failure to find a mid skill scout and a solly (either they were not good enough or they preferred not to play in a new team was the main gist).
I am looking for a div3 or higher clan (doesn't matter whether in s7 or not, but must have a stable lineup) who would like a medic as either their main or just a constant caller. In the prior clans I have been in I have been the main caller, and (I am told) my comms are very good.
Me:
* I can play every day from 1900 – 2330 GMT (2000 – 0030 CET), and am reliable at attending matches/pcws etc
* I have good comms
* I don't rage (I was told I was "shit at raging" when I apologised for it once :>), and I will only join a team that doesn't rage either
* I have prior experience playing in mid skill clans
* I can take constructive criticism and improve my playing based on it, and won't take it personally
* I am mature, but do enjoy a laugh and would like a team that does have a sense of humour about things
* I am generally a nice guy unless you are an utter dick, and am very willing to help people out in whatever way possible
* I am always willing to improve and don't take myself very seriously
You:
* Either in S7 or going into S8 at around a div3 level
* Dedicated and committed
* Friendly
* Play matches/pcws frequently
* Do not rage (much)
* Mature

Have you actually played for a season in division 5 or higher? Or just a season?
im not sure if this is the one that raged at me when he got something simple wrong i think he raged about obscure comeing with tf2. i said it didnt.. he raged off the server just as the game was about to start .
but i carnt comment on skill as i have never played with him
his voice was pretty <3 ?
@Mike – I’ve not actually played in a season in ETF2L, no. In terms of demonstration of skill however, I don’t think that is relevant.
@Jackkai – I was having a bad day and I think you picked on a technicality about the words I used — I said something about obscure being a ‘standard’ map and you picked on the word ‘standard’ as meaning ‘coming with tf2’… I just thought it was a bit of a petty and pointless argument you were putting out. As I say, I was having a pretty bad day and it was just a little thing that usually wouldn’t be a problem. I’ve felt bad about it since, and meant to apologise but couldn’t find you on my friends list, maybe you removed me? :(
To clarify my above statement to Mike, what I’m basically saying to him is that I wouldn’t have been accepted into spLit if I couldn’t have played at that level (obviously Cobra Gaming was my/caneD’s creation, so my acceptance into that was my own doing, so that isn’t really demonstration of anything).
what level was that of splits?
They used to be div3, if I recall, but that was more down to individuals carrying. I think the team they were building more recently were probably a mid div4 team.
I’m don’t recall which div they were intending to go for, but if I recall correctly Ray was intending to go for top div4 (which might be wrong, but that’s what I think he said).
Either way, I’ve been working a lot and training hard for a while, and I am now completely confident that I can hold my own in div3.

I love Chris. Ace medic could suit div3 quite well – easily division 4. Very good communication, and a bit of a nut pre-game.
This guys crazy on voicecomms. He’ll be your main caller if you let him, and he knows exactly what to call (SCOOOOOUT TURN AROUND!). Can use the kritzkrieg very well, and seems to know a shitload of tactics, even on maps he’s barely played. Can’t really spot any flaws with him as medic, imo he could easily play for a mid skilled team.
One of the best medic’s I’ve played with. Very good comms and he makes playing a war fun to do too. =D
Div 3 or higher for sure.
Helpful guy, spoke to him a fair bit about fixing/overclocking my computer – was very willing to help.
I’ve not actually played with him before, but watched him play in STV once, seemed very good and prioritised well.

If you get a mix with snuke sometime soon and I’ll be able to tell you what level I think you are at but at the moment I’m very scepticle that you are mid. Start off in a div 4 team and see where it goes from there, it’s not like you need to rush things.
fyi jg i’ve never played a serious mix with snuke in my life, and the one i did play i’m not sure you were in, so why you are so sceptical i have no idea.

Cannot reccommend this guy enough. Known him for a while, and he’s a great laugh, fun to be in a clan with, and basically all of what he said. Loves his Kritzkrieg, knows his stuff, and can tell the team if they’re doing something wrong that needs to be corrected.
Cons: Expects you to know as much as he does about computers ;D

Where does your Div3 experience come from?
my hands mostly, occasionally my fat gob, sometimes the netherlands
What jgmaster said, start off in somewhere around top/mid div4 and see how it goes there, medic is all about experience, and quite a few div3 teams will trial you with experience like that. Good luck.
i already have a few trials, so why i should need to wait around fruitlessly in div4 when i feel i could be playing in div3 is beyond me tbh.
not trying to be flippant, just don’t see the point of trying to enforce bureaucracy which doesn’t exist and has been talked down by others in this comments section.
I can’t comment with any type of authority seen as I’ve never played actually in div3, but this guy is the best medic I’ve ever played with.
& I’ve played with div3 medics :)
Some say chris is so good at medic he once went a whole round without healing anyone. others say his whole team stayed fully-buffed.
I once met a man, who knew this guy, who thought that Chris was pretty good at games.

Apart from starting the flame war in your recruitment thread, Good luck in your search Chris, decent medic that would fit in mid div3 or atleast deserves a div 4 top clan which obviously is div3, what a sherlock logic:9. Comms are the best, cant comment on other things.
