So we\'re currently looking for a demoman to complete our team.

Looking for relatively low skill level as a start, so newer players are very welcome though any skill level is acceptable.

What we\'re looking for:
* A demo
* Any skill – Willingness and patience to learn and improve with your team mates
* Gamesense – It helps to know what\'s going on
* Non rager – It\'s a game, chill the fuck out.
* Fluent English – Preferably UK based for LANs, but not essential
* Maturity – 16+ Essential
* Availability – Sun-Thurs or most of these days, because we do have lives sometimes.
* A sense of humour! – TF2 is not always srs bsns

What we can offer you:
* TF2 Servers
* Mumble server
* Experienced background in TF2 – with tactical assistance from the other Vertex teams!
* Regular matches
* Being a part of the stable Vertex community which keeps expanding!
* Good fun lanning members who attends i-series and community run events.
* A great fun atmosphere

About us:

We\'re the latest branch of Team Vertex. With our ever expanding community, we\'ve decided to extend the team with our third team.

We started Team Vertex up from the ground up and we\'ll gladly carry on doing this with our new third team. We think playing regularly is important, however it isn\'t essential to play every single game, every night – real life is much more important. We enjoy LAN events, from being a former part of the [MM] community and their LANs to the much larger i-Series events so being lannable would be great.

    Ahh Vertex! :D There’s not a bad word I could say about Yoshi or CG, I love them both to bits. I’m very sad that they’re leaving my team and starting Vertex3, but I completely understand their reasons and fully support them both with the new side.

    I’ve played with both of these guys for well over a year, and with/against CaptainGinger in the old TFC days too. They’re superb players, never rage and really enjoyable to play with. In fact, CaptainGinger is the most un-ragey medic ever! Forever polite and for that alone, it’s an honour to play a single map with him.

    The Vertex community is one that I strongly believe to be friendly, good-humoured and best of all growing rapidly. We’ve got two excellent teams already which gives a fantastic foundation for this new third team. We’re also looking at expanding into other games with 2 teams potentially joining us in the next month.

    Finally, we don’t just play TF2. Joining a community such as ours gives you the option to play many games. Over the last few months we’ve played games such as Left 4 Dead 2, Borderlands, Operation Flashpoint 2, GRID, Trackmania and many more. And if you manage to play a ridiculously silly game, you might even be lucky enough that CaptainGinger is recording it and uploading it to Youtube – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QRVkE56vbY

    I don’t think any greater endorsement can be given to players other than the fact that I’ve played many games over the last 11 years, and the players in Vertex1, Vertex2 and now Vertex3 are some of the best people I’ve ever had the privelige of playing a game with.
