⠀ I meet someone new, we have great conversations, but then depressive
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀episode randomly hits. Brain fog, unorganized thoughts, delusional thinking,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀poor memory, for me it’s like as if I am a different person suddenly. Thoughts
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀my true self wouldn’t think of or consider. I went through psychosis several
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀times, and when I am in a depressive episode, obviously since I can’t think
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I can’t come up with topics to talk about, questions to ask to improve the
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀friendship and bond together leading to it getting stale and they cut ties with
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀me, or get frustrated with me, label me as ignorant and other insulting names.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀It’s a cycle, get out of depressive episode with a clear mind, relearn all the things
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I forgot advice and knowledge wise, improve slowly, rebuild self esteem, get out of ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀a self loathing mindset, but then depressive episode f*cks me over and undoes all ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀the work I put into myself. It’s a damn cycle. If you want to really be my friend, all ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I ask for you is to have compassion and patience with me, And if it isn’t clear yet,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I struggle with critical thinking, being logical and rational. I try my my best to be
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀logical and rational but my bipolar disorder imposes difficulties on doing so.
