Se7en vs. wer das liest ist doof

It’s a key moment in Germany wer das liest ist doof‘s season, as the not-so-Germans are facing off against the colossus that is European Se7en.

Se7en, after drawing with rival Ascent.EU last week will be looking to bounce back in their last match of the regular season and need at least four points to finish on top of the table. Maybe even five, but this was written at 4 am so I can’t ask anyone who actually knows stuff. Regardless, Se7en will be looking to put last week match behind them, and mauling a mid-table side is a good way to do that.

So, is it already over for WDLID? I don’t think so. While they might not walk away with six points, managing to grab any point from this fixture would help them greatly in the playoff race. They are in a good run of form as well, beating SVIFT EU last week, a team that drew against the current top spot. It would not be the first time that Se7en is caught by surprise against a “weaker” side, as Ora Elektro managed to take them to a Golden Cap. With the addition of Dr. Phil, and the unpredictable nature of Prolands, an upset is not a far-fetched scenario.

So, will the good form of the doofus carry on or will Se7en crush them? Tune in to teamfortress.tv to find out!

Season 31 powered by Copenhagen Games & STN.tf Week 5: Ascent.EU vs Se7en & SVIFT EU vs wer das liest ist doof

Ascent.EU vs Se7en

Catch a glimpse of what could very well be the final of this season, as first and second place clash. That’s right, it’s European Se7en versus UnitedKingdom ComedyShortsGaming!

While Ascent.EU did not play last week due to nunya forfeiting, they managed to get a piece of nunya in the person of Connor, who will be replacing Nursey from now on. This first match under new colours will be quite the test for the hot-shot medic, but if there’s one thing that Connor has, it’s confidence. Against Faint Gaming the week before, amppis and his acolytes proved that they knew how to dictate the tempo of a game even against top teams, and this intensity could be the kind of thing that throws Se7en off.

Se7en also defeated Faint Gaming quite convincingly, Gullywash was a bit close at the beginning but they managed to regain control in the last 15 minutes. And this map is out of the rotation for now. They are looking very solid at the moment, but the absence of kaidus’ calm calls could hinder them should the game not go in their favour.

So, will Ascent.EU prove that they are up to the challenge ? Or will they have only a decent performance and get walked on by the current champions? Tune in to teamfortress.tv to find out!

SVIFT EU vs wer das liest ist doof

Tonight, it’s the Swedes vs the Germans, with Sweden Faint Gaming taking on Germany wer das liest ist doof on Snakewater and Sunshine.

Last match-week, Smirre and friends put the fellowship squarely to the sword. Though they might have secured safe passage across Khazad-dûm, scaled Mount Doom and even took a map off of doof last time around, the fellowship were deftly outplayed by SVIFT on both Gully and Snake, who played with intelligence and confidence to take two maps wins.

Meanwhile, doof will be looking to turn their fortunes around, after dropping both maps in their last game to an Ascent side that’s assuredly entering the ascendancy, with the end of the season and playoffs looming – like the Misty Mountains – ahead.

Will SVIFT keep up the pace? Will doof turn it around?

Head to teamfortress.tv for all the lights, camera, off-classing, and more.

Season 31 powered by Copenhagen Games & STN.tf Week 4: The Fellowship vs. SVIFT EU, Faint Gaming vs Se7en, & Ascent.EU vs wer das liest ist doof

Date October 18, 2018

The Fellowship vs SVIFT EU

It is a mid-table mid-season melee tonight, as UnitedKingdom the fellowship takes on Sweden Faint Gaming. The maps will be Gullywash and Snakewater, two staples of comp that don’t really favour a single side, although they flow quite differently.

The fellowship will be looking for a rebound this week, after dropping two points to some troublesome Teutons (and their English buddies) despite handily winning Product. Having only faced the two teams that had to qualify and the currently-undefeated Cuba Flush Agency Headquarters, Aragorn and friends will surely be considering this fixture as a test to see how they fare against teams of similar rank.

Meanwhile, SVIFT did not play last week due to SouthAfrica nunya dropping out, but the supersonic squad had a strong showing before that, drawing with Ascent in a thrilling match and putting up a decent fight against Se7en, which is more than their foes did. Based on results only, they seem like the favourites there, but they will surely be careful against a team like the fellowship, as they can mount comebacks like the Great Eagles.

So, will the crafty companions take the points? Or will the ship of the fellows get sunk by the swifter side? Tune in to teamfortress.tv to find out!

Faint Gaming vs Se7en

Cuba Flush Agency Headquarters will be looking to get back to their best after losing both Product and Gully last week to AMS and the gang’s UnitedKingdom ComedyShortsGaming, although – perhaps even more than Ascent – conquering European Se7en will be no tall order…

Meanwhile, it’s three on the trot so far for the league leaders, although last week – versus Norway Ora Elektro – was a week of two halves. Though they took Product 3-0, Gullywash wasn’t as easy, winning only through a Golden Cap.

Can Faint take six from Se7en? Will Se7en knock Faint out cold?

Head to Teamfortress.TV with all the action, with GrumpyKoi, Samski and Beater.

Meanwhile, doof will need to be at their best to get anything out of tonight’s game, although last week offered a glimmer of hope in the Golden Cap win against UnitedKingdom the fellowship.

Will the less-than-German Germans vanquish Mount AMS? Or will Ascent continue climbing up the Prem ladder and leave doof for dead?

Season 31 powered by Copenhagen Games & STN.tf Week 3: the fellowship vs wer das liest ist doof & Ora Elektro vs Se7en

Date October 11, 2018

Banner by soda

Tonight, two games take place in the ETF2L S31 Premiership tier.

To begin with, UnitedKingdom the fellowship takes on Germany wer das liest ist doof.

While the Germans will be hoping to improve upon the score of their last Product match, conceding the map 3-0 to Faint, they find themselves up against a formidable fellowship force. Russia Mon especially has a habit for Viaduct heroics, so keep an eye on the kill-feed for headshots. With that said, if he plays to his usual epic standards, they’ll be pretty hard to miss.

In the game after, Norway Ora Elektro comes up against European Se7en.

Domo once again fills in for UnitedKingdom kaidus on a Se7en side that continues to meet the high standards we expect of the team. Meanwhile, after losing both maps to Ascent last week, Ora will be hoping to turn their season around. Will they be able to begin a comeback tonight?

Be sure to head to Teamfortress.tv for all the action, commentary, airshots and more.
