Just over 14 weeks ago, we saw Team Infused make a last-minute change to their lineup and take the Season 11 title from Epsilon eSports, a feat thought impossible by several. Last week, we saw Infused make a similar change but this time things didn’t go so well for them, losing to TCM Gaming and breaking the “forever 3rd” curse that had hovered over TCM and Byte for some time. Now they will have to produce a bigger upset than both of these combined if they are to take the top spot, and give Epsilon their second surprising 2nd place finish for the season in a row. Perhaps  Royze on medic for Epsilon will throw a spanner in the works of one team, who knows?

The Round Robin

The first match of Group C, Belgium vs. Sweden, is going live tonight at 21:25 CEST. Sweden can come up with 6v6 and Highlander stars, such as TheSucker, Zebbosai, ashkan and the best and only full time heavy ALX. This is a tough lineup to beat for the Belgian team who have to go without some key players tonight. Minecraft creator Notch is unfortunately not playing tonight but he is sitting on the Swedish roster and we can expect to see him play for in one of the upcoming matches!

• All teams must have at least 1 player ready on #etf2l (QuakeNet) to find their opponent and schedule the match.
• If your match starts more than 10 minutes late, please reduce the map time to 15-25 minutes, depending on how long you have left before the next round starts.
• If your match finishes in a draw, you must play a golden cap round to decide the winner. Please reset the config and play a 5 minute golden cap round. The first team to cap all points in this round, wins. If neither team caps within 5 minutes, the team that holds CP3 at the end of the 5 minute period wins.
• For most other issues the regular ETF2L Season 12 rules apply.
• Teams may use 2 mercs by default.
