June’s Cup!

In the month of June, we will be focusing on the demoman! Prepare those pipes and practice those air shots as you take on the best of ETF2L to claim your title of the best demoman in Europe ! Should you fail, never fear! This is a recurring cup, meaning once we have gone through the three combat classes, then we shall go through them again… and again, claim as many titles as you can!

As a special rule for this cup the Sticky Jumper will be allowed, however the Sticky Launcher, along with all other unlocks, will be banned!

Additionally and as usual, pixel trophies will also be handed out to the top 3 finishers of the monthly final. Every top 4 qualifier will also get a golden trophy for his bracket, no matter if they participate in the monthly final or not.

Signups for Qualifier #1 are closed!

Epsilon eSports vs Skidmark Central

In theory, tonight’s game should be one of the closest we’ve seen so far, however UnitedKingdom kaidus‘ lovable band of rejects have proven that they know how to drop points to even the most blunt toothed of bottom feeders, never mind twice-ETF2L-champions, European Epsilon eSports. However, stranger stuff has happened and if International All Tied Up walk away with any points tonight it will be a huge upset.

Date June 3, 2013

Season 15 Roster Lock and Wildcard Lock Reminders

As in previous seasons, the rosters of all teams signed up for Season 15 powered by BlackOut Gaming will be locked with the start of week 7. The last day to add new players to your roster is Saturday, June 15.

No exceptions will be made and the roster lock will be lifted when all Season 15 playoff matches will be played. Please take this information into consideration and add backup players to your roster if necessary.

Additionally, wildcards will be locked on Friday, June 21, on. All matches without a schedule will receive a new default date for the catch up week (Sunday, June 23, to Saturday, June 29). Any matches without result will be made void on Monday, July 1, at 00.00 CEST, after which the Premiership playoffs and tie breaker matches will be created.

Reconnect Exploit rule update

After discussing the resurfaced potential for abuse of the retry command, we have added an extra rule to General Rules:

6.6 Exploiting the retry command is not allowed

Reconnecting to the server to reset your respawn time and gain an unfair advantage is considered exploiting, and may be punished with a default loss for the map and a minor warning for the offending team.
