After a night of battle, a huge congratulations to the 4 qualifiers from Tuesday’s bracket. These players battled through the 128 player bracket to claim their spots in the Monthly Finals:

Don’t fret if you didn’t make it! There is still another chance for you to qualify for this months Monthly Finals in the 2nd Qualifying Bracket! Anyone who played in the first bracket is welcome to sign up again, as long as they are not 1 of the 4 qualifiers! The 2nd Qualifier will take place on Wednesday 19th.

broder vs Revoluzion la metagame

Tonight, broder have their third match in just as many days. This time they are facing one of the weaker teams in the premiership, Revoluzion la metagame. This matchup does look like an easy win for the brothers but can ilike2spin‘s boys pull a surprise out of the bag. They certainly have the deathmatching ability, but do they have the teamwork?

broder vs 90° Fov

broder continues their heavy load of officials in a row with their match against fellow viking descendants The frenchy survived (although they seem to have added some French flavour to the mix). The frenchy survived have not played for 3 weeks following the Darn saga and so still theoretically have a strong chance of getting the fourth seed into the playoffs. In order to keep that hope alive they need some points from this match desperately.

Overview and Reminders

Signups are closed, the brackets are out, and it’s time for the first 4 of the 8 qualifiers for the Monthly Final to be decided! Here is a quick overview of the schedule:

• 20:00 CEST Ro128 Starts – Badlands Middle
• 20:30 CEST Ro64 Starts – EndIf
• 21:00 CEST Ro32 Starts – Granary Last
• 21:30 CEST Ro16 Starts – Snakewater Middle
• 22:00 CEST Ro8 Starts – MGE Ammomod

A quick reminder for some of the special rules for this cup:

• The Sticky Jumper will be allowed, however the Sticky Launcher, along with all other unlocks, will be banned!
• In EndIf you are not allowed to shoot a pipe until the re-spawned enemy has hit the floor!

Any breach of those 2 rules will result in a default win for your opponent!

Remember that cup matches may be played on any server running the latest version of the MGE mod and any version of the map mge_training_v8. The newest beta version of the map, mge_training_v8_beta4, can be found here. Locally hosted and public servers are allowed. ETF2L will have a few servers dedicated for the cup, so feel free to ask to use one if you can’t find an alternative!

Please remember that demos have to be recorded manually as P-REC won’t automatically start recording when playing MGE!

Remember to communicate with your opponents on the match page to help get in touch, if you can’t contact an opponent then let an admin know! All matches have to be played on the night and if a match is holding back the bracket, a coin will be flipped to decide the winner!

If you can no longer play, please contact an admin as soon as possible so we can replace you!

broder vs Skidmark Central

Tonight we delve into some premiership action once more, with the first match of week six where broder faces All Tied Up. At the beginning of this season this fixture would have been considered a very close matchup, but now with All Tied Up dropping points to even the lowest teams in the premiership, and only having got 6 points so far from their four matches, the tables have turned. Can All Tied Up pull a surprise out of the bag, or will last season’s runner-ups broder cruise to a comfortable victory?
