The first tiebreaker comes from division one when European REVERTO faces recently re-named European Politically correct pander. Both teams ended up with the same amount of points after the season, which included a 3-3 draw between them on week one. Season 15 powered by BlackOut Gaming – Playoffs & Tiebreakers

Date July 3, 2013

Season 15 powered by BlackOut Gaming – Playoffs & Tie breakers

The main season of ETF2L Season 15 powered by BlackOut Gaming is now over. All that remains is what you have all been waiting for: The conclusion of Season 15 in the Premiership Playoffs. There are also some additional tie breaker matches. Please note that we only create tiebreaker matches for ties that are relevant for pro- or demotions of a team or further playoffs. If two or more teams are tied for the 3rd place (or the 1st place in a division where the top 2 get promoted), all of them will receive a bronze (respectively golden) pixel trophy.

Tie breakers

Premiership Division Playoff Tiebreaker:

European SOLAR vs European Revoluzion la metagame

Division 1 Promotion Tiebreaker:

European REVERTO vs European Politically correct pander

Division 4C Relegation Tiebreaker

Portugal Talent Goes By vs England 9 Men

Division 4E Promotion Tiebreaker

European sit down trader vs European Furaribi

Format

All tiebreaker and Premiership Playoff matches are played as best of 3 maps. Any map from the Season 15 map pool can be chosen. In the Premiership Playoffs, the team that finished higher on the table gets the first map pick. For the tiebreakers, teams can either agree on the first map or perform a Heavy Fist Fight to decide which team gets the right to select the first map. From the second map on, you have to use the Loser’s Pick system.

Schedule

All Tie breakers have to be played until July 27th. If your match is not scheduled by July 19th a default date will be set by an admin.

Special case: The deadline for European REVERTO vs European Politically correct pander is July 13th, because the loser will face Russia Last Man Standing in the Premiership relegation match. A default date for this tiebreaker will be set on July 5th, if necessary.

Premiership Division Playoffs

International All Tied Up has withdrawn from the Premiership Playoffs. This breaks up the three way tie and makes the whole situation a whole lot easier. Once European SOLAR and European Revoluzion la metagame have battled it out, the Premiership Playoffs can officially kick off.

Don’t forget what you are fighting for!

Playoff 1:

European SOLAR or European Revoluzion la metagame vs European Team Infused

Playoff 2:

Winner of Playoff 1 vs European broder

 Playoff 3:

Winner of Playoff 2 vs European Epsilon eSports

Premiership Division Playoff Schedule

  • Tiebreaker: June 30th – July 6th
  • Playoff 1: July 7th – July 13th
  • Playoff 2: July 14th – July 20th
  • Playoff 3: July 21st – July 27th

Default Dates will be set where necessary. Playing a match earlier than the schedule suggests, is, of course, allowed and encouraged. Due to the necessary tiebreaker match, the Grand Final might unfortunately clash with the group stages of the 6v6 and Highlander Nations Cups.
