As I am sure everyone remembers, this summer we changed how we publish our provisional plans for the near future. The way it works is that every 3 months or so we will post the provisional schedule for the next six months or so. This is the second post regarding this and covers the period approximately 1 October 2017 – 31 March 2018. These posts only cover regular season events and do not cover Nations Cups, Preseason Cups or any other spontaneous or surprise events.

When?

The event starts this Friday the 22nd of September at 20 CEST and will run for 3 days over on twitch.com/tipofthehats. You can find a schedule, guest appearances and more over on their site tipofthehats.org. So get your favorite snack and drink ready for an awesome weekend filled with Team Fortress 2 while kicking cancer’s ass in the meantime. If you can’t contain your excitement you can check previous years events over on their Youtube channel.

Note* If you want to calculate over the schedule to CEST then you have to add 9 hours. So 3 PM turns into 12 PM.

What is Tip of the Hats?

Tip of the Hats is a charity event hosted and supported by members of the Team Fortress 2 community. Since 2013, it has raised over $320,000 for Children’s Oncology Services, Inc., which offers camps and other educational and excursion programs throughout the year that allow children with cancer to just be kids. With your help, COSI can offer attendance to kids at little to no cost to their families.

Season 28: Update

There have been talks of cp_reckoner expecting to receive an update further on in the season, so Reckoner is getting delayed in the season to weeks 6 and 7 as a result to see if the changes will positively affect the map.

The Season 28 Map Pool will be adjusted to be like this from now on:

Season 28: Provisional Tiers

In case you do not find your team in this list, you were likely removed because you had between 1 and 5 players, in this case you have to gather 6 players in your roster and sign up for Season 28 again or you changed your name during signup process, just check for an old team name. We will try and get as many teams into the season as possible before week 1 starts. This is also a reminder that we will leave the signups open until the start of week 3 for late signups. If your team is not on the list or is in a different tier to what you expected please contact the admin team.
