i think he is trying to say that it is hard for him to express himself in english in a fast way and to respond to shit fast.. i think he means that its a problem to his brain to translate shit from german to english and to think about the right word to say and to say it while he want his team to do specific thing..

you can always drink before games so you wont have that part in your brain that blocks what word is right and not right to say.. i find it very helpful

Well, responding to shit is fairly simple. A simple “Eww!” will suffice.
Translating shit is not hard either. It’s “scheisse” in german.

You should consider not using the word shit in almost every sentence.
