I use crossbow always. If I get confronted alot by scout/soldier then I switch to needles

If you have a perfect team and you never have to defend yourself, then I don’t see why not use crossbow. But most likely you won’t have the perfect team and you sometimes will have to defend yourself and needles will save you from a couple of deaths. Crossbow is just really useless in any type of dm situation, assuming that you don’t get super lucky and the person you are playing against has some kinda idea on what he’s doing.

At the end of the day, you just have to try both and see which fits you better, it varies from medic to medic even in premiership/invite, doesn’t mean somebody of them has to be an idiot if he’s using something different.

My personal choice is surely Syringe Gun/Overdose in a serious game and Crossbow in a fairly non-serious game, just because I find that item pretty funny to play with sometimes. But in a serious game I’d always take Syringe Gun/Overdose as saving yourself few times is a bit more important in my eyes than doing a 1 sick heal save arrow in a map.
