So i figured what with TF2 now free to play, now could potentially be a good time to try and enter the competive scene without being the only new guy running the wrong direction!

Played competivly previously in other games, so awareness of comms, tactics etc is already there, obviously just need to learn them for tf2 maps and stuff and ideally enter at a low bracket so i dont spend most of my time getting RAGED at

Spend some time pubing at the moment but if anyone can give me pointers on where to enter, mirc channels to loiter in, vids/strats to study then i will be most grateful, took a peak at a few threads on here but standard trolling etc leads to flames :D

for playing 6vs6, dunno whats going on about pixel pickup being open or not atm, you can try tf2lobby but it is quite shit
