Does anyone else on Virginmedia have ridiculous ping’s to all french/hipers servers been like this for about 4 days now. Obviously VM support are useless as always.

oh btw, I did a pingtest before and on a server in lyon I had normal ping, but other french places it was 100+

Or they are just having technical problems somewhere on your path to France, as the request’s timeout would suggest. Although the ‘four days’ part might be a good enough reason to trash that theory.

Literally fuck Virgin media. I just switched away from them, best thing I ever did.
They are currently doing major upgrade works everywhere, so service is going to be even worse than usual for a few months. If you can I would go to BeThere.
Damn I thought it was just me, yeah I’ve been getting 100 ping constantly to any French or Belgian server for 4 days.
I’ve been having issues with VM to any server in existence, not just a specific type, when i brought it up with them they claim that either nothing is wrong or that the issues isn’t “bad enough” that they will do anything about it.
How many of you have actually made a complaint about this to VM? If not enough people actually do anything naturally they’re not going to look at fixing anything.

I got this french server ping thing. I always just call up and complain if your clever and word things correctly, keep a record of dates of your complaints is the main thing. You will nearly always be offered money off your bill.
Also you can always try the old trick of calling up and choosing the cancel account option, this will increase the likelihood of speaking to someone who lives on the same island as you.
All that said it will rarely speed up the time it takes to fix this shit.

I don’t have the problem up here and scotland. Believe me my dedi is in france so I’d sure as fuck notice. :P
