Since last few days my mouse or even mice have been freezing in tf2 but working well for all other games. Getting this on both, mx518 & abyssus. >.<
Tried using rawinput, reinstalling drivers …
My launch options:
-full -high +mat_antialias 0 -w 1920 -h 1080 -console -novid -useforcedmparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd

try without -high
I don’t think that it can be the reason, i was using it about for 2 months :p
reinstall tf2 overnight, solves most problems..

gonna check if i get same thing with css, maybe that’s source shit
edit: no problems on css :p
If you use -high it can interfere with your mouse
You really shouldn’t need to use -high unless you have loads of programs running in the background
in my laptop the game is kinda freezing sometimes because of my 1000hz mices.
just because it cause a lot of cpu load.
but this is not only the mice which is freezing
Didn’t want to create a new topic so I’m hijacking this one
My new-ish mouse (Logitech Mx518) keeps freezing, disconnecting and reconnecting (I hear the little USB connect sound)
I’ve been searching around and it seems that many 518’s are experiencing this issue, but there aren’t any definitive solutions. I don’t think it’s still in warranty so I’d prefer to fix the issue.
I’ve tried it in every USB port
I’ve never had this issue before, it started 2 days ago and has been becoming more and more frequent. It only occurs when I’m playing (as far as I know)
My specs:
Phenom 9500 Quad-Core 2.2 GHz
3GB RAM
32Bit
GTX260
Any ideas?
Thanks
mouse broken, send it back, get new one free

Manufacturing fault in the cord if 1600dpi, lack of luck if 1800dpi (also cord).
Do what AnimaL said or get a five cable cord and replace it yourself (mouse uses a double ground, requires a little bit of soldering on the mouse’s side, easy job).

Thanks for your help, I’ll try that tomorrow (now’s not the time to be getting the screwdriver out)
That shit disappeared itself. Everything is fine.
The problem could be made of plugin 1000hz abyssus after I had oced usb slot to 500hz ;p
