Problem with tf2 on max settings

Hello i have problem setting all max in tf2
when i set anything on max my game crashes when im trying to join any server
my pc settings
i5 2500 3.3 ghz quad core
nvidia gts 450 1gb ddr5
ram 4 gb
delete cfg folder and use -autoexec
Delete the ‘TF’ folder on your HDD.
Add -autoexec in Team fortress 2 launch options.
change your video settings
Save
Remove -autoexec in Team Fortress 2 launch options.
run TF2
it did not work
i downloaded chris high quality config and it started to work lol :D
did you installed the latest nvidia driver ?
if i dont install an good nvidia or AMD dirver. my game will crash after the intro movie everytime

It’s -autoconfig and autoexec.cfg IIRC.
