Sniper scope?

Since a recent update, whenever speccing a sniper you can no longer see the zoom-in effect when a sniper scopes, but instead you just see the full view (making it difficult to see the actual shot). People have probably asked this question before, but i’m literally too lazy to check. If anyone has a fix, that would be great.

It’s because Valve disabled dynamic changing of FOV whilst connected to the server. There isn’t a fix.
Won’t this now make it difficult to tell if someone is aimbotting as sniper?

That doesn’t help at spotting aimbots..?
Is this the issue being discussed here? Because I was just about to make a thread asking for help :[
