Basically, the group im in has 12 people in it (with another on the way).
http://etf2l.org/teams/10727/

The problem is that 7 people show up in the “registered players” section, while the other 6 people only show up in the “team history” area. Their accounts show that they are in the group (as they had to join up manually).
When these people joined up, our leader tried to add them himself but it wouldn’t work, saying that they had to ‘register first’.
They say they have accepted the terms and conditions, they have confirmed their email, and I can see their steamID on their accounts.

What’s going on? Does it matter that they do not show up on the ‘registered players’ area or is just having them in the group at the ‘team history’ good enough?

I’m sure they’ll appear on there when the website has had time to catch up as they were only added today.

Your team leader needs to go to Team Admin and click on Teams, Edit Roster (next to the highlander squad) and click Accept next to their names. This is because the players added themselves to the squad so they still need to be accepted by a leader of the squad.

i think i know what your doing wrong, and it’s pretty basic really.

there’s 2 methods to add players to the clan.

1) clan leader adds to the roster via the roster page
2) player adds via their profile

in the case of #1, players are added and show up on the team list right away
in the case of #2, players appear on the “joined” list, but are put on a waiting list until the leader accepts them.

basically you don’t want complete randoms joining your team without permission, so the leader has to accept them. Get him to check the roster via the Team Admin section. You’ll see a list of players, and next to the players that added themselves, he’ll be able to click a button that says “yes”, probably under the approval heading.

do this for each player and you’ll see them appear in your team on the team profile page.

if thats not the case, then there’s some bug with your team, but i pretty much guess thats the problem. as it sounds like your leader is trying to add via the drop down list of players, but you can’t add them if they are already in your team :D
