you should watch your power supply, if it can give enough power to your new parts.
And check if your mainboard is compatible with the certain parts
i5 7 series = i7 8 series without HT
i7 9 series is a different animal, (but at low-mid resolutions no better for gaming, low/mid = 1920*1080 with max settings or smaller)
and i5 6 series, are dual core chips with HT

Will a dual sli 8800gts make a big difference? This card is only 60 euro’s or so..

buy a cooler and keep OCing ur cpu since u seem to have good mobo and psu

Okay, but which cooler would you recommend me? I’m using an Asus P5k as mobo and a Sharkoon 450w power supply.
450w wouldnt be enough for sli anyway
im using zalman cnps 10x performa… red couple of tests that said its in top3, then checked its price and insta bought :D would recommend

just run it with a FPS config ;)
Its all about the gameplay and not the graphics
