i play with my fatal1ty gaming headset for more then 1 year now

This man speaks the truth. Fatal1ty set is good UNTIL you try another headset.
If you can afford it, Speedlink Medusa NX, 5.1 surround, it truly is amazing.
The mic is a little quiet, but easily sorted with the boost.
You don’t notice how bad the quality of stuff is till you try something better though, so might not be worth it ;)

I’ve also got the fatal1ty headset and its doing me just fine. Unless you want to spend bucket-loads of money there is nothing better. If you dont mind spending a bit extra I recommend the ROCCAT Kave http://www.roccat.org/Products/Gaming-Sound/ROCCAT-Kave/ (click ‘Experience’ for awesomeness :3)

Thinking about upgrading to HD555 myself. Any impressions on HD595?
My SS 5hv2 just broke after 2 years of having it, I would consider that pretty good durability.
However after the 5HV2 I bought a SS Siberia USB and I must say that I believe its better than the 5hv2, far more comfortable for my oddly shaped head anyway :) Both are pretty good buys.
SteelSeries 3H is pretty nice :)

I’d go with headphones and buy a mic with it, i have the HD555 Sennheiser and it has really sexy sound.

I’ve not heard the HD555 myself, but the 595 is amazing and I’ll certainly never go back to using anything of lower quality :>
Comparing it to the fatality I was completely blown away even when they were brand new.
