I’m using the Deathadder now, great mouse for lower sensitivities=)
Also have the G9, which is great if you use a finger-grip, and a higher sens.
Of mousepads, the Steelseries QcK Heavy is great, but I recently replaced it with a Puretrak Talent, which is even better than the QcK, imo=)
I’ve only used one hard-pad, the Razer eXactMat. It’s a good mousepad, but unless you’re using a high-mid sens, it’s a bit too small.
I’d say an Ikari optical with a steelseries mousepad, the biggest one, thats the one i’m using, not sure of it’s name though.
which ones features should have a mouse for high sens playing? And what about the mouse pad?
G9 and I got this carbon fibre mouse pad from PC World was about £25
Deathadder really is that great. And for the mousepad take a QcK or a QPad, they come in all sizes.
Deathadder + QcK Heavy. /thread :)
Could someone explain why a lot of people like those smooth, low friction pads (like speed edition and stuff)? I tried few of those and then bought Goliathus Control Edition and wouldnt trade it for anything…
Actually the “speed” pads have more friction then the control pads. The surface is just more consistent however and so is smoother. I think for tracking smooth surfaces are better as it’s easier and more fine to make consistent movement in any direction. However I do prefer control mousepads for RTS games where the friction is lower (lets u just flick ur mouse around where u want ur units to go) and where accuracy is not as important.
At the end of the day it’s all preferance.
Razer Deathadder + Razer Goliathus Speed
My choice ;)
