“I find religion an interesting thing,
while it is very dangerous (crusades, muslim extremism, …), one can’t deny that it has a huge impact on the culture of a region, and in some cases it has even caused a massive boost in scientific knowledge.”
Usually the opposite is true however. It’s not like the creationists in the US are boosting the science in any way or the Inquisition was helping the few brave scientists some hundreds of years ago.
The examples were scientists have been hunted and punished by religious people through the centuries for the discovery of things that contradicted various holy books of fairy tales are uncountable.
Of course, no need to deny that they have caused a lot of misery.
lol, remind me that in 2001 scientists in israel found a few facts that the bible is fake and never happened :P
lol zappah you are smart…
this thread is just pointless.
well you can’t do anything “against” it in a democracy.
It would be racist to say that it’s bad for the country, but it is definitely bad to all other religions
Who cares? I mean I’m not gonna get children who wants that? I’ll probably be dead then lol. Seriously. Familly? No I ain’t a fag. That shits boring. And why caring about traditions, beliefs and culture? I don’t even have a culture lol.

I’d like to see the sources on some stuff on what is being said in in the video, even though I recognize the numbers on fertility rates.
Islam may very well take over, since it’s part of the culture’s tradition to spread it. However, I don’t think any ethnicity is just “gonna take over”. The weaker segment of the European population will be phased out. And after all, it’s not like we deserve any better, as a collective.
A culture that teaches safe sex to 13-agers in order to be “responsible” (since I as a parent must let my daughter be fucked by some stranger at the age of 13) but a couple of 22 getting to become parents by accident is embarassing, despicable and dishonest, well, that says a whole lot and also that this sentence is very long.
Well while I’m trying to educate myself on this matter, I found this article very informative: http://www.frontpagemag.com/readArticle.aspx?ARTID=12534
In regards to people who are worried about Islamic extremism in terms of supporting jihad and violence in the name of Allah (to infidels or enemies of Allah, whatever you’d want to call it), in considering the Muhammad caricatures, you should give it some time.
Basically, how it’s been explained to me is just that you cannot expect them to comprehend things from this society due to communicating at completely different wavelengths. It can be explained in terms of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, in that you cannot expect the highest level to appear before the foundation is laid.
In countries like Iraq and Iran where the majority are illiterate and poorly educated, the concept of freedom of speech (which is just what was exercised with the aforementioned caricatures, but it still elicited a reaction of fury from the Islamic population, even in established countries) is way above their heads.
It’s also a point to note that religion has not always been very important in these countries, in fact women wore jeans and hair out all the time not that many years back (I can verify the exact range with my dad if anyone’s that interested), but the level of seriousness in religion has been highly elevated from that point onwards. One should expect that once properly industrialized and established, granting technological and economical prosperity to the countries, and once they have a solid system of education they will climb the hierarchy of needs, become more open to criticism and reflection, and then appreciate concepts such as freedom of speech.
It’s only because the Christian part of the world had this happen to them before, the Muslim culture is not anymore or less savage (if anyone were to think that just because of what they’ve seen from the media) than Christians were, but due to resources and expansion, etc. the Christians were the ones who stopped their crusades first and got to that point. Now it’s the industrialized world’s responsibility to bring everyone else up on that level, as communicating concepts that go way above or below one’s head is meaningless.
That’s my two cents.
I dont want muslim girls in sweden, I want swedish girls in sweden!
:(
lol?
Defur how about a Swedish girl who’s from Sweden who lives in Sweden yet is a Muslim? Loving the idea of how a Muslim is a bi-product of a person the way u’ve said it Defur, epic lulz :-)
So loving this topic, get to see how many closed/open minded ppl there are :D

why worry about muslims? the biggest genocide ever commited on this planet was caused by a belief in a superior race (aryan race) fueled by the darwinian ideology.
